Done with the second stage of the daily painting project! It’s really not too much to say this project is changing my life… and there’s a bonus before-and-after in this post, too.
In reworking my jewelry painting, I achieve a kind of delicate early-19th-century fantasy of ornamentation… except it’s probably a modern notion of early-19th-century (I so often find that original pieces from earlier eras are much uglier than my mental image of them, don’t you? when you visit museums, for instance?).
