Adding to my painter’s toolkit

I’m trying to improve my watercolor technique so my work won’t all look so dull and my strokes so beginner-y. The thing is: I’m all right at drawing, and working with colors, but I’m not much of a painter. So I’ve been spending afternoons with Charles Le Clair’s The Art of Watercolor, to help me think more like a painter and not so much like a draw-er who just happens to have a brush in her hand. I think it is helping.

Also: I need to buy some new brushes.
