Erik and I just did a yoga workshop [link broken] called Inversions for Beginners. It covered handstands, headstands (I can actually do the full pose, with someone supporting me), and shoulderstands, and it was supposed to go for three hours and instead went for three and a half. This also meant that by the time we got out (four o’clock), we hadn’t eaten anything since 10 AM. We came home and ate cinnamon-swirl challah from the farmers’ market, and drank water and coconut water, and they all tasted like the best thing ever. Now we are super tired but I feel incredibly buoyant and powerful.
