We saw Alicia Witt at Surfas yesterday. She’s tall, and as pretty in real life as she is on camera.
That makes two female celebrities I’ve seen at close quarters since I got to LA. Both of them are very striking; in both cases, I only noticed first off that they were very lovely, and then I realized they were famous. I have to wonder, are they eye-catching because they’re famous — tall and slender like most actresses, well groomed, expensively dressed, and somehow familiar — or are they famous because they have those qualities that make them stand out in a crowd?
