Here’s a mesmerizing short animated film for you. It’s inspired by Persian architecture. I heard about it from Typefiend, who Knows Stuff about design.

And here’s another movie, which makes me laugh because it is soooo silly!
“Eggs as large as Mars, cherry-flavored cars, 90-string guitars…”
Here are the lyrics: Things That Don’t Exist [link broken].
Thank you to Daniel. 🙂

I’m up early to attempt a Pillsbury Bake-Off recipe [link broken] for my social history class. It sounded so strange I had to try it: snack bread made with Cheese Whiz and dry onion soup mix. No, I didn’t just choose this recipe based on its merits. It’s for an assignment on material culture.
Last night while drifting off to sleep I had a wonderful short story idea very dissimilar to the others I’ve had. I’m thinking this story, which is a little mystical and metaphorical, is more in keeping with my true fiction voice than what I was writing last quarter, maybe? I can’t wait until I (have time to) try it out.
I’ll let you know how the bread turns out.
