I’ve taken the plunge and listed six of my original paintings in my Etsy shop. So excited! I am calling the collection BOUNDARIES, because that’s what I was exploring when I made them: various wet/dry techniques, hard edges and softer ones, color mixing, different media (inks and iridescent medium) and methods of application (spatter, brush, spray bottle, eyedropper).

I probably shouldn’t have favorites, but I do. I liked DRIPSCAPE best until JAKOBS LADDER came along, and now my favorite is HIGHER. But I love them all. I am thinking of buying appropriate-size frames and hanging them all up in our house until they sell (if they sell). That way I can enjoy them properly until they go out into the world!
I also had so much fun making these, I can’t wait to do more for the November collection. I already have an idea for those: negative space created by organic objects. You’ll see what I mean. π
Yay you! (Can’t wait to see what you mean!)
Thank you, RΓ©! π I can’t wait to show you… once I’ve got those paintings made. ;b
These are beautiful! Makes me think happy thoughts. π
Thank you so much, Empress! That’s wonderful to hear. π They make me happy too — I feel like I’m starting to create art that reflects the colors in my soul. That sounds cheesy, but I’ll let it slide for now (“Why is it that when one speaks from the heart, it is invariably in bad taste?” — Ngaio Marsh’s handsome gentleman detective, Roderick Alleyn π )
I love the colors in Dripscape and Strata, and the circles in Orbits! I know you had fun creating these. What a good idea to share them on etsy. Glad your shop is getting some attention.
Thank you, Sherry! It feels nice to be back in the shop too. It was so neglected!
Hey, these are cool. Good luck ! π
Thanks, Alan! π Glad you like them!
This is so exciting!! Love them all. π Heading over to your shop now…
Eeee, thank you, Mo! π
