I’ve taken the plunge and listed six of my original paintings in my Etsy shop. So excited! I am calling the collection BOUNDARIES, because that’s what I was exploring when I made them: various wet/dry techniques, hard edges and softer ones, color mixing, different media (inks and iridescent medium) and methods of application (spatter, brush, spray bottle, eyedropper).
I probably shouldn’t have favorites, but I do. I liked DRIPSCAPE best until JAKOBS LADDER came along, and now my favorite is HIGHER. But I love them all. I am thinking of buying appropriate-size frames and hanging them all up in our house until they sell (if they sell). That way I can enjoy them properly until they go out into the world!
I also had so much fun making these, I can’t wait to do more for the November collection. I already have an idea for those: negative space created by organic objects. You’ll see what I mean. 🙂
