The Facebook event page is up for the IWL reading next month, and it gives us our first look at the poster. I’m not sure who the designer is but s/he is working on the anthology too, so the poster probably closely reflects the look of the final collection.
I’m very excited about this! Here are the details for the reading, taken from the Facebook page (which was set up by the workshop organizers). If you’re not in the Bay Area, please share with friends who are; we’d love to get a full house, and admission fees go to supporting the workshop.
Wednesday, July 6 from 7 – 9 pm
Intersection for the Arts
925 Mission St. Suite 109
San Francisco, CA
Admission: $10-15 sliding scale (no one turned away for lack of funds)
A select group of the Bay Area’s brightest emerging writers have been conducting literary experiments. These daring writers, under the guidance of established artists, have crossbred genres and dabbled in new literary forms. On July 6, the IWL will reveal their creations!
Come to the final reading of the IWL and join them in celebrating the launch of Chicken Skin and Impossible Trees, the 2011 IWL online anthology.
Featuring IWL Participants: Indira Allegra, Maria Allocco, Dylan Casama, Erika Cespedes-Kent, Elwin Cotman, Sarah Dayley, Lisa Hsia, Nayomi Munaweera, Jen Palmares Meadows, Ron Ragin and Jenny Strauss
IWL Instructors: Jaime Cortez, Cheryl Dunye, Leticia Hernandez, and Brenda Wong Aoki
