Tote bags, rug, and logo

Whew, long day. Very rainy and windy, so I called the doctor’s office to reschedule my exam — still waiting for them to call me back, so I guess they probably have me down as a no-show. But not driving down to San Jose left me open to working all day, and that’s what I did. Morning pages, and then sewing and sewing and sewing. I’ve stitched all the sheaths for the totes, and actually finished sewing seven of the eleven totes — which is a big deal, though it did take all day. I’m pleased with them all, but also dissatisfied because many of them came out a little bit bunchy, not as smooth and professional as I would like. But oh well, I’m learning… and in the meantime we will call it “handmade charm”!! (What a copout.)

I also managed, in the evening, to braid about another yard of my rug, and to (with a great deal of help from Erik) finalize my Satsumabug logo and start trying out some business-card layouts.

Good, full day.

Also: I need to make sure I’m eating enough protein, otherwise I crave sweets!
