I was having a pretty stressful day, but now I’m very happy! Erik and I went for our ramble and we saw Goats R Us unloading hundreds of goats onto the trails for brush control. There were big goats with huge horns and tiny tiny babies, and they were all bawling: “MEH! BAH! BEH! EEEHHHHHHHHHH!” While the goatherds were unloading the goats, their adorable black-and-white border collies were all business, but before and after, the dogs were super sweet and came over to us for petting. One of them kept putting his paws up on us.
We also saw a family of fat quails and a couple of cottontail bunnies out on the trails. When we got home, the lovey orange neighbor cat was outside and he came over to mew at me.
Impossible to stay cranky and frustrated when surrounded by so many wonderful animals!!
