I went to check on my garden and I found that the rains and winds had blown the two tiny fruits off one of our citrus trees. ๐ฆ

The tree is a spindly thing and I think it just couldn’t support the fruits. We were incredibly surprised when it fruited in the first place, but now I am sad! And we didn’t even know what kind of citrus tree it is! We’ll see if it makes any more fruits later in the season.
But the rest of the garden is doing beautifully. Check out these pansies:

And the sprouties are growing like crazy:

The poppies are popping up at a gratifying rate:

I seem to be recovering well from the colonoscopy, as well. Yay for health and growth and vitality!

Ooooh come visit come visit!! I want to see you too! What is your schedule like? We are both working from home now so we’re free anytime, though weekends kind of have to be planned out in advance because of family stuff. ๐ I’d love to see you! And you can meet our kittehs!
i loooove the colors in your house! or at least the ones you showed on the blog :). ps. i have been adjusting my diet to eat more non-meat proteins, lots more veggies and more importantly drinking lots more water lately and it has cleared up my skin tons tons tons and it just looks more… colorful – water is amazing, isn’t it? glad to hear that you are recovering well from your colonoscopy! ๐ – alison
Thank you! We didn’t pick the colors — the walls were already painted. So nice that we like them. ๐
Yay for eating more veg and more veggies! I have a cookbook called World Vegetarian by Madhur Jaffrey that just has the most wonderful recipes in it. I use that whenever I have some beans that I’m not sure what to do with. ๐
Feels good to be hydrated. ๐
