I have just purchased the sweetest little teapot from Sur La Table (don’t worry, it was more than 50% off!). It is a deep eggplant color and will be lovely for morning tea every day, since the cast iron pot will keep the tea warm for several hours. So pleased.
Also, we just took a Provençal cooking class there and it was great fun. Everything was delicious, especially the onion tart and the ratatouille. Mmmm.
[This post was imported on 4/10/14 from my old blog at satsumabug.livejournal.com. Sadly, I forgot about the teapot one day and boiled it dry until the bottom inside coating flaked. 😦 ]

PS this is alison that just said that. i keep forgetting to sign my name. and i sent that comment without finishing my thought. we have so many small tea pots at home that i am going to make some shadow frames and set my teapots in the cubbies!
Re: ps….
Aww that will be cute! I love my teapot too. 🙂 I’ve already used it many times. Now all I have to do is hurry up and drink the tea I already have so I can go tea-shopping. 😀 😀 😀
