Wayne Thiebaud is an American painter. He was born in Arizona and studied in California.
Cakes, 1963.
Thiebaud is a UC Davis Professor Emeritus. He still teaches one course per year.
Black and White Suckers, 1971.
I’ve seen some of his work in person at SF MOMA. He’s a painter after my own heart.
