I wasted a lot of time today doing something very very fun: I made a font! Feel free to use it. It’s got caps, lowercase, numerals and common punctuation. I wanted to make special characters, too, but I just really didn’t have the time. Tell me what you think. 🙂 (If you looked at it earlier when I had it on AIM, this version is better and has lowercase!)
To my annoyance I can’t figure out how to make the author section say that I made it. So please don’t go distributing this to the general public until I figure out how to do that. ;b

Very nice
Cute font! I think my favorite is the lowercase ‘g.’ I’ve always wanted to make one – how did you learn?
And will you be renaming it something other than “Test”? 🙂
Re: Very nice
Thank you! 😀 Glad you like it. Other people have commented on that ‘g’ also.
I would like to rename it but I can’t figure out how. The program I’m using has you name the font before you start making it, and I can’t figure out how to change it afterward. So I named my first one Test, thinking it’d be just awful. Maybe I should have a higher opinion of my abilities. ;b j/k
It’s really shockingly easy to make a font. There’s a bit of a learning curve but not as much as with some other programs. The program I use is called Font Creator. You can download a thirty-day trial version here: http://www.high-logic.com/download.html. I don’t know what I’m going to do when the trial runs out.
[…] but I take time out of my work to bring you Satsuma Fonts’s brand-new second font! I thought the last one was cute, but this one practically melted me inside. It’s a handwriting-type sans serif font, […]
