I feel really good after dance today! I was afraid I was going to be late for class, so I threw on exercise clothes over my leotard and tights, and put on socks and running shoes and just ran to class. I was amazed at how short the distance became when I ran instead of walked. Running, though, is still tiring, and I think I should work on that. So I think I’ll try to run to class every Thursday (the one day of the week I don’t have class right away after dance). Anyway, so I arrived at dance hot and out of breath but energized. Yesterday Carol admonished me about not holding my torso right, so today I was trying really hard to dance correctly. I think I might have managed it. I feel really good. My legs don’t feel tired at all, but my chest feels really open and happy. And Carol said my little jumps were really nice. “Doesn’t it feel good when you dance right?” she said, and it’s true.
Anyway so I’m in a good mood, and feeling awake, which is good since I have a lot of work to do today!
