Okay, now I’m listening to the Cabaret soundtrack for the first time in years. I used to have Liza Minnilli’s version of Mein Heir in regular rotation. It was one of my mom’s favorite films and when I got old enough to understand what was happening, I was delighted that something like this was allowed to be made, but horrified that my mother had, I don’t know, discovered sex or something. 😂
