I think I’m not sick anymore, but I’ve been remarkably out of it all day. I wrote two journal entries prior to this one, and each time I had to do the most astounding amount of copy editing. Pinning my mind down to anything has just been a challenge. But I did morning pages, wrote those two posts, did some ironing, cut fabric pieces for brooches and a yoga mat tote, sewed a dozen eye pillow inner casings (these will be the pillows I’m going to donate to the Art of Yoga Project), brainstormed my Craft Happy inventory and some changes for my long-neglected website, cooked a pot of chickpeas, and practiced some calligraphy. So. The productivity still holds, even if I feel like my head is in outer space somewhere.
I’m pleased with this day because my goals for this week were to start crafting again and to come up with my New Year’s resolutions, and today, on my first day of not being sick, I did both.
In other news, I am distressed by the photos from Haiti, and anxious about the Prop 8 trial in California.
