Most of the day devoted to shop business

Out all day yesterday.

Manageably busy day today, with some interruptions. Short morning pages, then got an Etsy order ready. I tried out a new style of drawstring pouch for gift wrapping on these items, and I’m really pleased with how the bags came out. I used some of my more festive FabMo fabrics for them — almost a sacrifice, but not really, given how gorgeous the gifts look! (But if I end up having to make a lot more of these in this size, I might run out of the swanky fabrics… cross that bridge, etc.)

I got up late this morning and spent some time tidying my desk, so by the time I finished these pouches and the hand-drawn cards that accompany them, it was time for lunch. After lunch I read a lot of marketing materials and did some brainstorming with those, dropped off the Etsy order at the post office, and then ended up spending the rest of the afternoon setting up a Facebook fan page for Satsumabug. This was surprisingly complicated to do, but I’m quite happy with the result and look forward to being quite active on that page from here on. 🙂

Also started compiling a list of local craft fairs, and got on the mailing list of some of them. I’d like to do at least one more sometime next year!
