Retroactive clock-out from yesterday

I spent much of the day with Caroline and Bright, at the Lines Ballet’s “All-You-Can-Dance” open house. So now I am quite sore. But I managed to get a little bit of crafting done before and after. In the morning, I did scant morning pages, and then cut and ironed fabrics for several FabMo totes and a cash apron for myself. In the evening — in spite of my weariness — I finished ironing fabrics, then actually managed to begin and finish sewing the cash apron, which pleases me no end. So I now have a cash apron for the FabMo exhibition — I guess it’ll be a work belt later — and though it’s not as flattering as I’d hoped, the print and stiffness of the fabric makes it somewhat obi-like, which is kind of cool.

So, not at all a bad workday, given the circumstances. And of course a day of dance and friends’ company is brilliantly restorative!
