Another productive day

Another productive day today:

  • I went to Michaels and bought cardstock to make pillow boxes for the eye pillows, and cut out wallpaper to the appropriate dimensions in preparation for making the boxes.
  • I sewed a chalk bag for climbing! This took somewhere between an hour and an hour and a half. It’s a modified version of the complicated omiyage pouch I made on Sunday.

  • I began a set of timelines for my family history project. The document contains timelines for the following: Chinese history, Chinese American history, the Tsui family, and Mommy, Daddo, Dajiu, Aiyi, and Erjiu as they split off into their separate journeys.
  • I typed up my notes from last Friday’s reading session on Chinese American history.
  • I did some very brief research for my novel.
  • I scanned some more family photos.
  • I had another good drawing session at the RAC, trying out some pen work this time (but not dip pen and ink). I’ll post those pictures tomorrow.

No exercise, unfortunately, and tomorrow and Friday will be busy days with all the things we have to do before our friends arrive Friday afternoon. But I’m glad I’m being productive this week.
