A pleasant day

Morning pages, ran to the end of my decoupaged notebook. Used one of my papercrafting books to wrap one of the old dayplanners I took from Erik’s parents’ house; this took a long time and isn’t very secure. I think rubber cement was not the right adhesive for this thick vinyl-ish wallpaper; I might need actual wallpaper paste for that. Anyway, it’ll be an adventure to start journaling in that planner. Uploaded photos from yesterday’s drawing session. Finished the L’Engle book and wrote my thoughts on it; these proved much more interesting than I expected. Had a really good singing lesson. Scanned and uploaded lots of old B/W family photos. I think that’s pretty much what I did today. I’ve been feeling focused and uplifted, I think because of the drawing and the post-L’Engle insights, but it’s a hot day so I haven’t been as active as I’d like.
