Diligence

Diligent work today.

Morning pages, wrote a brief journal entry on dreams, then some tidying, cleaning, and answering emails, and somehow the morning went by before I knew it. Had lunch, then in the afternoon got started typing up Saturday’s family-history notes. Typed all those, dug up and also typed up my diary entry from 2002 transcribing Daddo’s Cultural Revolution story, did some beginning research online, declared project on Facebook, then updated syllabus. I hope to get a little bit more done before bedtime — I moved my library date to tomorrow so I could have time today to start writing up my thoughts on the L’Engle book. Now I don’t know whether I’ll have energy to do that before bed. Either way, it was a good work day and my first such in a long time, and I’m pleased.
