More yard-saling

It appears I must amend yesterday’s entry on this weekend’s yard-saling take! Today, while going to and from the adorable Kensington Farmers’ Market, we found a rummage sale (to benefit greyhound rescue and adoption) and an estate sale, and bought:

$3 – two big plastic plant pots, which are exactly what I needed and about which I am thrilled
$2 – paper shredder so ancient it’s got a faux-wood top (but it does work!)
25¢ – nature book for collage-making
50¢ – cigar box to decoupage
$1.50 – adorable tiny blingy vintage pin
$1 – cheery green and blue striped flat sheet, for sewing projects
$3 – 1954 finance magazine, 1988 travel brochure, and 1977 road atlas, for collage-making
free – 10-pack of multicolored fine-point Gelly Roll pens — none of which work!!

This brings the weekend’s yard-saling grand total up to: $17.50

While driving back home, we stopped at an intersection and two deer came bounding out very quickly toward our car, a doe and a fawn. They leaped across the intersection, startling several drivers, and skipped away down another street. I hope they make it through their day safely without getting hit!!
