Rats

There’s cat pee on more of my free fabric than I thought. I’ve sniffed everything again, and am washing the remaining clean fabric now. Luckily (?) cat pee is so pervasive that even a hint of it will make a whole bag smell funky. I think I’ll leave the washed stuff in a bag for about a week and sniff again later, and if it smells clean, it’s probably safe to use.

Spent some of my morning cataloguing the remaining fabric. I’m sad I had to throw out a bunch of the ones I really liked, but I’ve still got some of my favorites. I should go get my sewing machine fixed so I can get started on making some bags!

Lyapa has lost a pound in the past week, and is also dehydrated. Her toe is better but isn’t completely healed. The vet shot her up with some subcutaneous fluids and stopped her antibiotics so she can relax. We’ll bring her back in on Saturday, and if her weight isn’t back up, then we can panic.*

*The vet said: “I’m not averse to panicking right now” about the whole situation. Cross fingers. Knock wood.
