i’m feeling a little better today than i was last night. then i was very depressed and lonely, but today i feel quite well again. i went out for dim sum with ying, lisa (not me!), beth, and prof nelson from last year’s URAP group. we went to jade villa in oakland, which was totally mediocre last time i went but wasn’t at all bad today. i found out something interesting — prof nelson’s wife is ‘one of the world’s leading performers of baroque repertoire’ (this is from some webpage; prof nelson was very modest and just said she was ‘a vocalist’)! EENteresting!
the rest of the day hasn’t been very eventful, but oh well.
