i just remembered one more thing i’ve noticed since doing pilates. it has drastically improved my posture — and i had good posture to start with! i read an article once on the best way to sit and stand (basically, keep your feet together and on the ground, keep your back straight, and be symmetrical. no leaning in one direction or another, etc.), and at that time i tried it and it was impossible! it was so hard for me to sit in front of the computer and not slouch and not cross my legs, and the same went for standing. now i can do it! it’s really quite amazing.
