October 15, 2011: I read “No Answer But This” at Litquake’s San Francisco Lit Crawl. I was one of several writers representing Kearny Street Workshop during Phase I of the Crawl. See photos of the event here.

July 2011: Participants in the 8th Annual Interdisciplinary Writers Lab read at two San Francisco events to launch our anthology, Chicken Skin and Impossible Trees. Kearny Street Workshop (one of the organizations behind the workshop) posted photos from the event, as did one of the writers, Jen Palmares Meadows. KSW’s photos are more professional, Jen’s, more lively.

2011: My Tisha sketchbook went on tour with The Sketchbook Project 2011. Stops included Brooklyn, NY; Austin, TX; Portland, ME; Atlanta, GA; Washington, DC; Rochester, NY; Seattle, WA; San Francisco, CA; Chicago, IL; and Winter Park, FL. I stopped in for an afternoon at the San Francisco exhibit and wrote a blog post about it (with pictures, of course).
