Some time ago I wrote a little list of what qualities I like in men. By the way the small group of men I like has changed slightly since that entry. But I’ve just realized there are two other sort of incidental characteristics shared by all the men I’ve really liked. And this is “really liked”, mind you, not was in love with, was friends with, anything. Just… men I like.
One. They’ve all been musicians. Go figure.
Two. They are comfortable enough with themselves, and with others, that they aren’t afraid to give compliments. And they give good ones. Think about it. Men who give really good unsexual compliments? They’re rare.
