I realize that it means more to me to be happy than to be great. Greatness can be taken away, or it may never be granted; but living each moment is something we can do. In fact, it’s the only thing we’ve got.
I reorganize my desk and it makes me feel like more of an artist.
The backpack makeover is almost complete!
My backpack has served me well, but it’s not my style. I start to give it a makeover with fabrics and fabric paints.
Wednesday is craft day on my blog! I’m taking my Etsy shop in new directions, focusing less on the business-headache part of it (trying to compete in a crowded market!) and more on what drew me to crafting in the first place (the love of it!). I demonstrate this balance using decoupage as an example: an art that takes tons of time and quite a toll on my body, yet one I’m obsessed with.
I’m going to shake everything up around here!
