I go to a meditation retreat and come home with a new commitment to taking care of myself.

I take a quiet artist date today, just having lunch and walking around a little.

I take a road trip to Oregon, and it makes me realize what I should change at home.

I attempt to visit a 1920s clothing exhibit, only to find it’s closed early. I return home and immerse myself in my fashion-history book instead.

I visit the Ferry Building Farmers’ Market, and muse on what I love about markets and what I miss about going to them regularly.

I visit the Legion of Honor in San Francisco, and realize I don’t dislike all art museums.
