Biscuits for a Sunday morning

These are the Touch-of-Grace Biscuits from Shirley O. Corriher's book, Cookwise
Corriher says: "These are my grandmother's feather-light, real Georgia biscuits. 
I got a standing ovation for them at an international food conference in Sicily."
I've been wanting to try these biscuits ever since I bought the book about four years ago.
