One of the friendlier ones, though as with many of the city’s cats, this cat mainly seemed to want to greet me and then move on. We joke that they take turns to serve on the greeting committee because often we’ll see only one friendly cat in a neighborhood, and the rest will ignore us: “I’m not on duty.”

Tonight our greeter cat was a sweet, slender orange and white kitty who actually escorted us across a small bridge.
